Steve Catling


After attending Bournemouth University where he achieved a BA (Hons) degree in Television Production, Steve moved into Events Management industry as a Project Executive. Working his way up over a number of years, his background includes experience in both the agency and corporate side of events.

Having worked as an Event Manager for Lloyds Banking Group, his understanding of the corporate environment and what is important when working with an agency, has been central to developing the ethos of Hippo Events.

Steve places a great emphasis on a proactive approach to working. The answer is always “yes” as he values the importance of honesty and use of initiative in all aspects of work.

An infectious personality, he takes great pride in establishing strong relationships with all Hippo’s clients and suppliers, adding that personal touch to every stage.

Steve was recently selected as a Finalist for the industry renowned C&IT A-List award.
