Our client approached us with the task of finding a venue in central London large enough to house up to 1,000 pax plenary, six syndicate spaces, one large exhibition and catering area, plus smaller boardrooms for storage, 1-2-1 meetings and offices.
Searching throughout London we concentrated our venue find on several venues which could hold the room capacities required, plus provide room for flexibility in case of agenda changes in the build up to the event.
Using our up-to-the-minute knowledge, we proposed five venues, all of which met the criteria required. Negotiation with the venues was key in achieving desirable rates within budget as Hippo utilised our established relationships and negotiation power to achieve excellent cost savings at each venue.
After assisting our client on site visits at a couple of different properties, once location, flexibility and the favourable rates Hippo negotiated were analysed, Park Plaza Westminster was chosen as the event venue.
