Brief
Our client approached us with the task of finding a venue in central London.
The venue needed to be large enough to house up to 1,000 pax plenary, six syndicate spaces, one large exhibition big enough to hold over 25 2m x 1m Exhibition Stands and catering, plus smaller boardrooms for storage, 1-2-1 meetings and offices.

Solution
Searching throughout London we concentrated our venue find on several venues which could hold the room capacities required, plus provide room for flexibility in case of agenda changes in the build up to the event.
Using our up-to-the-minute knowledge, we proposed five venues, all of which met the criteria required. Negotiation with the venues was key in achieving desirable rates within budget as Hippo Events utilised our established relationships and negotiation power to achieve excellent cost savings at each venue.
After assisting our client on site visits at a couple of different properties, once location, flexibility and the favourable rates were negotiated and analysed, etc. Venues 113 Houndsditch was chosen as the event venue.
We then also looked into options for accommodation at nearby hotels, ensuring it was only a short walk away for staff, speakers, crew and attendees. Allocation booking codes were secured with 3 different hotels, giving favourable rates and allowing attendees to book online at the same rate.
