Brief
Our client contacted us with a short-lead event due to take place in October, during peak season. Immediately, knowing that venue availability would be minimal, we jumped on the enquiry and began our venue search.

Solution
Our initial search was outside London, looking at the Cotswolds, Surrey, Birmingham, Berkshire and Southampton. We also threw in some London options, so the client had a city option as an alternative, which allowed for easy travel from anywhere in the UK. The London option was settled on with the venue being the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel.
The event was spread across three days, with the attendees arriving at leisure on day one to an informal dinner, where we had exclusive use of the Chino Latino Restaurant at the hotel – a stunning setting with even better food. Overnight accommodation ensued with the conference taking place all day on day two.
The client required one large meeting room large enough for up to 150 pax theatre or cabaret with set & staging. Four other breakout rooms were also required of 40 pax theatre or cabaret, and a space for catering and networking.
An off-site gala dinner that evening made for a fantastic conclusion to the event, with accommodation that evening followed by departure at leisure the next morning.
Supporting our client throughout the contracting stages, we ensured everything was in line before the contract was signed. Once signature was received on the venue contract we put our client in direct contact with the venue to they could then liaise on all the logistics in the lead up.
