Brief
Our client approached us looking to plan a global staff party in Dubai for up to 600 colleagues. The agenda included arrival on day 1 to a welcome drinks reception in the evening followed by overnight accommodation and a conference on day two.
That evening would then be a party at the hotel, with buffet food, band, drinks and lots of festivities. Day three would encompass some entertainment around town, with a final night at the hotel before departure the following morning.

Solution
Hippo Events conducted an extensive venue find, initially in Dubai as requested by the client. However, as time progressed the location changed to Europe, and we then focussed on updating our proposal to now include venue options in Paris, London and Amsterdam.
10 venue options were proposed across those 3 locations, offering a variety of different style hotels in central locations. The client settled on Amsterdam as their preferred destination and contracted on the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. Due to additional bedrooms being required, some accommodation was at the nearby NH Hotel Barbizon Palace, allowing all attendees to stay within walking distance from one another.
Hippo Events managed to negotiate on bedrooms rates significantly, saving the client over €40,000 in the process, in addition to receiving complimentary upgrades for VIPs.
