Brief
After a successful run of events together, we were delighted when this returning client got in touch to plan their Winter Party for 300 people. The brief was to create a stand-out venue in Central London, with space for a lively evening of festive celebrations – all with a stylish but relaxed vibe.
The event needed to feel like a proper party, not a sit-down formal affair. Along the lines of a standing buffet with poseur tables, an open bar, a dancefloor, and a great DJ to keep the energy up all night. Accommodation either on-site or within a short walk was also essential, to ensure guests could enjoy the evening fully without worrying about getting home.
We were also mindful of budget – the savvy client wanted impact, but with smart use of spend.

Within a matter of days, we presented a tailored proposal with a selection of carefully chosen Central London venues that ticked every box: space, style, transport links and budget. The standout choice was the Grand Connaught Rooms – a venue with serious wow-factor and a strong track record for large corporate events.
We organised site visits so the client could get a feel for the venue in person, and after a couple of walkthroughs and Q&As, we locked it in.
Thanks to our relationship with the venue and a sharp negotiation, we were able to secure a saving of over £3,000 off the standard rate – around a 10% reduction for the client.
