Site Visit Day: Home Counties

As expert Venue Finders our focus throughout the day was exploring the meeting and conference facilities at each property, while also reviewing the bedrooms, restaurants, wellness facilities and overall guest experience.

Many of our clients regularly request venues outside of central London that still feel accessible, so we concentrated our day on these properties, which all offered the perfect balance of space, privacy and high-end hospitality.

Unlike many city-centre hotels, these properties benefit from extensive grounds, dedicated conference buildings and more private surroundings, making them particularly well suited.

Royal Berkshire
Royal Berkshire combines classic country house charm with modern meeting facilities, all set within beautiful grounds. We particularly loved the welcoming atmosphere and sense of exclusivity, making it an excellent choice for meetings, training events and smaller conferences away from the city.

Great Fosters
Great Fosters is full of character, with stunning Tudor architecture and beautifully maintained gardens creating a real sense of occasion. What stood out most was its individuality and charm, making it ideal for leadership retreats, incentive groups and residential events.

Fairmont Windsor Park
Fairmont Windsor Park impressed us with both its scale and luxury. The conference facilities are exceptional, whilst the quality of the bedrooms, restaurants and wellness facilities create a truly premium delegate experience. A fantastic option for larger conferences and high-profile events.

De Vere Beaumont Estate
De Vere Beaumont Estate offers excellent accessibility, flexibility and capacity, making it well suited to larger conferences and training programmes. We were particularly impressed by the range of event spaces available and the venue’s ability to accommodate a variety of event formats.

Monkey Island Estate
Set on its own private island, Monkey Island Estate offers a unique and exclusive setting for meetings and events. We loved the peaceful surroundings and boutique feel, which make it perfectly suited to executive meetings, leadership retreats and smaller VIP gatherings.

Why These Venues Stand Out

What made this site visit especially valuable was seeing such a wide range of event styles within the Home Counties market. Some venues focused heavily on large-scale conferences and residential events, while others offered more intimate luxury experiences for senior leadership groups and smaller corporate gatherings.

What we took from the day was that there were many key advantage across all the properties was the amount of space available – both indoors and outdoors. From expansive conference suites and breakout areas to gardens, terraces and wellness facilities, the venues allow delegates to feel far more relaxed and removed from the usual city-centre environment.

It was a hugely enjoyable and great day for the team!
